Sara Torrome Counselling uses the information provided by you for providing safe and ethical therapy and for the running of the business. This includes but is not limited to, contacting you about appointments. Basic records are kep for 3 years and therapy notes for 6 months after the end of therapy, or when last heard from.
The information about you will not be shared with any other parties without your consent, unless any of the following circumstances apply;
You disclose that you or someone you know is planning an act of terrorism or drug trafficking.
You reveal details of a vulnerable person, especially a child, being at risk.
You pose a realistic and credible threat to yourself or someone else.
Sara Torrome Counselling receives a Court Order, ordering the release of confidential information.
You have the right to see the information I hold about you, please ask me and you can view it in a session. You can ask me to change any information that I hold about you that is incorrect. You have the right to ask me to delete information that I hold about you, which I will do save for that which I have a legal obligation to keep.
